Mauricio Rodriguez
Restaurant Manager

Joining us from Catalunya Singapore is our Restaurant Manager, Mauricio. With the knowledge that he wanted to be in the Food and Beverage industry, Mauricio graduated with a * degree in the Culinary arts from Claustro de Sor Juana University in Mexico.

Proving his versatility, not only is he well versed in dealing with event planning, and managing stock and quality control, he’s also trained as a Chef. He made the move in 2007 to be strictly front of house, working with a Wine import company as Assistant manager.

Another alumni of El Bulli, Mauricio worked at Staff Co-ordinator and head waiter from 2009 until its closing in 2011. There he worked on training employees, making sure all tables were set, as well as running press activities.


Josep Casas
Head Chef

Our Head Chef Josep Casas has over 20 years experience specialising in Catalan cuisine. He started working with the legendary chef in 2008 at the Fundacio Alicia, a private non-profit foundation created by Adria and a cardiologist. There, he studied the social and cultural influence of food, explored technological innovation in cuisine and advised on the culinary needs of people with special health requirements while promoting better eating habits.

While working closely with Adria, Chef Josep discovered new technical skills and learnt how to create enticing recipes which were both healthy and also met specific dietary needs, thus preparing him for a career working in renowned restaurants such as La Fonda, Masia Cal Sola.
